Challenge yourself to complete 25k, 50k, 75k, 100k, 150k or 200k distance throughout this month. Or if you want to set your own challenge, we also have the personalised option.
Choose to run, walk, swim or cycle the distance you have signed up for between 1st – 31st March 2025 to claim your exclusive, bespoke piece which you can add to your medal frame! Any discipline that can be tracked can be done (examples include run, walk, swim, cycle) and you can mix and match if you wish to achieve your goal.
In January, you will also receive the medal frame alongside your January magnetic piece (which will be posted after we approve your evidence) to get you on your way towards earning each monthly piece. By receiving the frame at the start, you can watch the frame build as you go! The January entry costs £23 and each month after is £8.95 – much cheaper than a gym membership and you get your fab reward to remember your achievement!
Your challenge will be made up from multiple sessions to achieve the 25k, 50k, 75k, 100k, 150k, 200k or your own chosen distance, but you can do it at your pace.
To earn your medal:
Submit proof – photo with running app, Garmin, running device, screen on the treadmill etc. via the My Races section of the website ahead of the deadline of 12 noon on 3rd April 2025 (Only the total to be submitted when you have achieved the minimum km target). Results will be ranked from highest km down to the minimum required.

Please note, the segments will state 25k, 50k, 75k, 100k, 150k, 200k or personalised – we will send the one you have signed up for on proving your distances. We will accommodate as many requests to upgrade/downgrade as possible, but this might mean a delay in the postage of your medal by up to 4 weeks. You must email virtualrunner@live.com at the time of submission to organise this.
Personalised option
We will engrave your piece with the distance (rounded down to the nearest whole number so for example 345.78 will read 345k). The maximum numbers are 4 digits (1000k for example). By selecting the personalised option, please allow us up to 2 weeks to organise your engraving and then post your medal piece. Whilst we will work as quickly as possible, we are unsure of how popular this option will be and most entrants will submit around the same time at the end of the month. The personalised option comes at a small additional price (£2 per month).
BONUS
The added bonus to this race is that each month throughout 2025 there will be a challenge per month. All the segments fit into your medal frame to make a mammoth medal with an additional bonus surprise if you complete all 12 months!!
