Run 22 for Solidarity which took place between 27th May – 3rd June raised over £40,000 for charity and due to the number of people who missed the opportunity to join and show their support, the race is reopening with a second date.
We are again asking runners to show solidarity by joining together to complete 22 minutes either running or walking on 22nd August, 3 months on from the horrific attacks in Manchester.
22 minutes is a mark of respect for the date of the tragic event and the number killed to date.
100% of the profits from this event will be donated to the MEN Fund (the British Red Cross) and the NW Ambulance Trust.
We will ask you to submit your results online confirming how far you travel in 22 minutes, please submit ahead of the deadline of 12 noon on 27th August.
As medals have not yet been ordered, there may well be a delay of up to 4 weeks to receive your medal after submission. However, we (and our suppliers) will work hard to reduce this.
